Anderson Engineering Co., Inc, a engineering and reclamation service provided located in Salt Lake City, Utah was contracted to provide technical services for the surveying and mapping of 1,500 acres of windblown tailings contamination, and general engineering and surveying support for environmental monitoring and reclamation of a large uranium processing and tailings disposal facility.

Anderson Engineering was instrumental in aiding the Homestake Mining Company locate, map, layout, and verify clean-up criteria during relocation of windblown tailings to the onsite tailings impoundment facility.
