Arizona Singles Club Offers Family-Friendly Events for Single Parents

Scottsdale, AZ- In the not-so-distant past, single parenthood could have been considered to be the equivalent of dating suicide. Single moms or dads raising kids alone could hope for little more than a late night movie after the kids were finally tucked in, or the rare night when a babysitter or grandparents were actually available.

Adventures 2000, known since 1999 as Arizona’s number 1 singles club, is taking single parent dating to new levels by offering family-friendly activities that allow single moms and dads the opportunity to meet up in atmospheres where their kids are welcome. “Single parents have long been ignored by many singles clubs. We want to provide them ways to meet people and include their families at the same time,” said Kim Hamilton, owner of Adventures 2000. Some of Adventures 2000’s recent kid-friendly events have included hiking in Flagstaff, Go-Kart racing, miniature golfing, biking, and rollerblading.

“I love being able to include my daughter in the activities,” said Patty Perry, single parent and Adventures 2000 member.

Adventures 2000 also offers plenty of adventurous activities for adults only, including international and local trips, Las Vegas weekends, skydiving excursions, cooking classes, wine tasting, concerts, and speed dating. “We like to offer something for every interest,” said Hamilton.

All Adventures 2000 events are professionally staffed to help keep conversation flowing. “Our staff makes sure everyone has a great time,” said Hamilton. For added peace of mind, all members are pre-screened through SafeDate.com.

With the recent addition of a web-based profile service, Adventures 2000 plans to combine the worlds of internet and in-person dating by allowing members to match up their interests and preferences via the internet in addition to the club’s full calendar in-person activities.

Adventures 2000’s most anticipated summer event is the homecoming of Zowie Bowie, Arizona’s hottest band, on July 3 at the Venue of Scottsdale. Zowie Bowie’s Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor have spent the last 5 years performing for sold out crowds across Arizona, and will be playing for one night only at the Venue of Scottsdale. Tickets are available now at www.adventures2000.net. Seating will be limited. “Zowie Bowie is going to be the highlight of our summer schedule,” said Hamilton.

Adventures 2000, was founded in 1999, as a result of a desire to create fun and safe entertainment options for Arizona singles. With thousands of current members from all age groups, membership benefits include corporate partner discounts, professionally staffed events, safety screening through Safedate.com, and group discounts on some travel events.
