Wireplay has had a complete redesign and invested in 30 new high performance servers to enable gamers get online with old favourites such as Counterstrike and upcoming titles including Quake Wars and Team Fortress 2.

In addition to multi-player games, the re-launched website now contains game reviews, previews and the latest gaming news provided by the industry. Fans can download demos or buy games online. More importantly, there is lots of forum space available for news, reviews and articles from the Wireplay community. Wireplay services are run on state of the art servers located at one of Pipex’s highly secure datacentres.

Kevin Balmer is one of the volunteers who manage the Wireplay forums and services: “Thirty new top of the range gaming servers is an injection of life into Wireplay,” he says. “And hosted at a state of the art datacentre means a much better experience for online gamers. We’re excited by the launch and can’t wait to meet fellow gaming fans in the forums.”
