ART WORLD TELEVISION LAUNCHES ON COMCAST’S VOD SERVICE IN THE NEW YORK AREA AWTV Programming Now Available ON DEMAND and Online

New York, NY (May 2007) – Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, has signed ART WORLD TELEVISION (AWTV) to launch a Video on Demand Showcase in the country’s largest cable market. Starting September 2007, Comcast Digital Cable customers in the New York area will be able to find AWTV’s original programming in the “Searchlight” section of their ON DEMAND menu.

AWTV is devoted to the world of art entertainment with programs such as Art Auction TV, Art Gallery TV, Art 101, Wine Television, DRIP, South of Houston and Starving Artist. Programming will be simulcast on the Internet with streaming ad-supported video at http://www.artworldtelevision.com.

ON DEMAND, Comcast’s signature video on demand (VOD) service, is available in all major Comcast markets, offering Digital Cable customers the opportunity to choose from more than 8,000 programs and start pause, rewind, or fast-forward programs whenever they want, using their Digital Cable set-top boxes and remote controls. Since 2004, Comcast customers have watched more than 3.5 billion ON DEMAND programs.
