New Service Helps Students Get Ahead in the Design Industry

Student Design is a rapidly growing company founded by three university students. Our aim is to work with student graphic and website designers and give them an opportunity to work for clients on a national basis. This offers students an opportunity to gain valuable experience designing and will help build up their portfolios, all while earning a fair price for the work they do. It is hoped that Student Design will be responsible for bringing some of the next generation’s top designers forward and helping them secure top jobs in the industry.

Generally, our clients are small businesses, bands, charities and individuals looking for websites, logos, flyers, leaflets and general design work. Working with top student designers we strive to ensure the work we provide our clients is of the highest quality and in return the work we provide our designers is challenging and stimulating.

Applying to design for us couldn’t be easier. Applications can be made via our online application form found at www.student-design.co.uk/apply.html . All we ask is that students supply us with contact details a current CV and also 2 pieces of design work from their portfolio. Once approved they will be a full designer for Student Design and be contacted about all future design projects. Joining is 100% free and students will never pay to be part of the service.

As an incentive all designers who successfully apply within the next 3 months will be entered into a prize draw to win a years free subscription to popular design site DeviantART and £30 worth of vouchers for a high street store of choice. There are also incentives available to designers who refer friends to the service.
