Brylcreem to cast TV advert through MySpace

Brylcreem is casting the star for their next TV advert through MySpace. In a first for MySpace, Brylcreem will choose their hero from videos posted online. The best clips of effortlessly executed tricks from blokes around the UK will be judged and a winner will be chosen to star in the TV advert and win £10,000.

Blokes need to enter a video through the Brylcreem b:Effortless MySpace page before 14th June of themselves or a mate doing an effortless trick. From a great bar trick to flicking a coin into a jar or throwing a football to turn the light switch off - Brylcreem want to see your skills! The skills you use to impress your mates could be the same ones to impress the nation.

The lucky winner will not only get £10,000 but will be directed in the new Brylcreem TV advert by the highly acclaimed director Fredrik Bond - who has directed many great ads for the likes of Adidas, Nike, Smirnoff, Lynx and Wrangler jeans - as well as directing Moby's "Bodyrock" music video.

It doesn't end there…from 18th June Brylcreem is also on the search for a band to soundtrack the advert. Bands will be invited to upload a track onto the same Brylcreem MySpace page. One track will be chosen and the band will be helped on the road to success with national exposure of their tune…

The advert will be promoting b: from Brylcreem ,the new men's hairstyling range from the brand that has been at the centre of men's hairstyling since 1928. b: from Brylcreem has been designed to give an understated style and a natural look. The range consists of 6 products, including Remoulding Paste, Styling Clay and Texturising Gum.
