Thompson & Knight Attorney Elected to Keller ISD Board of Trustees

Thompson & Knight is pleased to announce Partner Jason P. Wylie has been elected to the Keller ISD Board of Trustees. His three-year term will commence at the seating of new Board members on May 21, 2007.

The Keller ISD Board of Trustees is the governing body that provides leadership and vision for one of the fastest growing school districts in the State of Texas. It is made up of seven elected community members. Members of the Board of Trustees are elected for three-year terms. Annual elections are held the first Saturday in May and are staggered (i.e., two places one year, three the following, and two the next year). Board officers are elected the first meeting following the election.

Wylie is a Partner in the Trial Practice Group in Thompson & Knight’s Fort Worth office. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, oil and gas litigation, and insurance defense. His expertise encompasses breach of contract, personal injury, collection, arbitration, environmental, energy, and real estate matters, as well as injunctions. Wylie also represents clients in class action litigation.
