Emerson Kent announces the release of his latest audiobook White Sands, New Mexico – Gypsum Wonderland on compact disc. The audiobook is based on the visitor's guide with the same title and has a duration of 28 minutes.

The author fell in love with the National Monument when he visited in 1998. Since his visit, he completed a brief summary of the monument’s turbulent history combined with a simple introduction to its geology.

Kent's new release will aid visitors to arrive well informed at White Sands National Monument. "The audiobook is ideal for people who travel long ways to see the Sands," says Kent. "They can listen to it on their way and learn for example, where the tons of gypsum that cover 275 square miles came from. This way their visit will be more fun and much more memorable. "

Audiobook and brochure can be obtained via Emerson Kent's website at www.white-sands-new-mexico.com. The brochure is also available at the Monument's Visitors Center or via any local bookstore (ISBN: 978-1-4116-8757-8, Publisher: Damaris Radoske Publishing.)
