JACE EVERETT CONTINUES AS COUNTRY MUSIC'S INTERNATIONAL AMBASSADOR

(Nashville, Tennessee) Singer/songwriter Jace Everett will serve as Host and Master of Ceremonies for "The Fourth Annual CMA Global Artists Party," scheduled for June 4 at The Stage on Nashville's Lower Broadway. As always, the evening will showcase established and up-and-coming Country talent from around the globe and serve as an unofficial kick-off for the 2007 CMA Music Festival, held in Nashville from June 7-10. This is Everett's second year to host the event.

A longtime friend of the Country Music Association, Everett joined Mercury recording artist Julie Roberts for several high-profile showcases in London, Dublin, and Glasgow in late January and early February as part of "The Third Annual CMA New From Nashville" concert series. This was Everett's second foray into the New From Nashville series. In 2006, he joined Capitol recording artist Dierks Bentley for CMA's concerts in the three markets. With a long and successful international track record, the Texas-born singer/songwriter has grown into a perfect ambassador for Country Music in these growing foreign markets and has built a strong international following in the process.

"It's amazing to me that a kid from Tarrant County, Texas has become this ambassador for CMA stuff, but it makes sense too," Everett says. "I moved to Europe and was playing bass in a band over there when I was 22. Europe has been a large part of my life since I was a young man, and now things are coming full circle."

Everett has built an enthusiastic fan base and solid relationships through his consistent overseas touring, and will embark on his first solo tour of the continent in the coming year. He'll entertain European fans with selections from his debut release on Sony Records, along with his co-written composition "Your Man," which was a recent No. 1 hit for MCA recording artist Josh Turner.

"I'm going back with my guitar player and an upright bass player, and I can't wait," Everett says. "I think the global marketplace is coming, even to our little hillbilly corner of the market, and I'm really excited to be a part of all that, I really am."
