(Hollywood, CA) Movie lovers everywhere will soon be able to enjoy an authentic “Hollywood Experience” in the comfort of their own homes with the June launch of “StoryMakers Studio Online: Live and Unscripted,” the Internet broadcast of StoryMakers Studio’s live series taped at the world famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatres Complex in Hollywood.

StoryMakers Studio (http://www.StoryMakersStudio.com) tells the story of how a particular film was made through the eyes of the people who made it featuring some of Hollywood’s biggest, brightest actors, directors, writers and producers. “Ever since we began the live series, we’ve literally had people from all over the world travel to Los Angeles to be in our audience,” said Ronn Campbell, one of StoryMakers Studio’s producers. “We’ve had even more people ask us how they can see our shows even if they can’t make it to Hollywood. Now they can.”

StoryMakers Studio reunited cast and crew members of the critically acclaimed film FREEDOM WRITERS, based on the New York Times best selling book, with educator Erin Gruwell and several of the original Freedom Writers.

From the filmmakers side, writer/director Richard LaGravenese (THE FISHER KING), cast members Deance Wyatt and Pat Carroll and casting director Margery Simkin were joined on stage by Gruwell and original Freedom Writer Maria Reyes, the real life counterpart to the character “Eva” in the film and had the overflow house riveted with both some of the stories that inspired the film and the unusual way the big screen version of FREEDOM WRITERS was developed and filmed.

In addition to the live portion of the evening as seen by the studio audience, the subscription-based webcast of StoryMakers Studio’s FREEDOM WRITERS event includes intimate interviews with Erin and many of the original Freedom Writers plus casting director Margery Simkin who interviewed over 2,000 people, many of whom had never acted professionally before, to cast the sixteen students who would be on screen in the film.

“The idea behind our subscription series is to enable movie lovers everywhere to recreate a StoryMakers Studio event in the comfort of their own home by combining watching our webcast immediately after viewing Paramount’s DVD of the film,” explains Meyer.

“Our subscribers will get advanced notice about upcoming shows as well,” adds Campbell. “This way they can email us their own questions for our guests. We’ll pick the best ones for Gordon to use either on stage or as part of our green room interviews. And of course our online subscribers will get preferred seating any time they’re here in Hollywood and want to be part of our studio audience.”
