May 2007 – SearchInform Technologies Inc. announces the release of a complex solution for converting print documents into electronic format. The solution significantly speeds up this whole process.

Large print data archives, be it either books or documents, significantly complicate the process of finding just the data you need, and, on top of that, take up too much space. That’s why most libraries and companies dealing with hundreds of paper documents a day choose to convert all their print archives into electronic format.

SearchInform’s solution can be viewed as teamwork of three separate systems under the control of management system.

Management system controls the work of scanning and recognition systems. After getting the data and checking its integrity, the system places it into a storage, where this data will be available for search.

Scanning system is a high-performance book-type (primarily for libraries) or document-type scanner. This solution finds its market in the banking sphere as well as in companies with huge daily document flow.

Recognition system is built with the help of Abby Recognition Server technology. Under the control of the management system, the recognition system can automatically conduct recognition and converting of digitalized data without any input from a human-operator.

Search system is SearchInform search server. By connecting to it with the help of client versions of the program you can organize quick and quality full text search in digitalized and converted into text format information.
