Troy, Michigan— Spring brings with it the season for festivals, parades and community fairs throughout southeast Michigan. The InPro Insurance Group of Troy hosted one of the newest community gatherings last summer with their inaugural fair. This year, InPro will be hosting the 2nd Annual American Red Cross Community Blood Drive and Health Fair on Wednesday, June 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“We are very excited about our 2nd annual Community Blood Drive and Health Fair,” said Dave Goodman, vice president of InPro Insurance Group. “This is a great opportunity for us to bring business and charity together and offer the community something very unique. This fair will appeal to all residents of southeast Michigan and we are proud to once again partner with the Red Cross to fulfill both of our missions.”

“The Red Cross is committed to helping the residents of southeast Michigan prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies,” said Jim Laverty, CEO of the American Red Cross- Southeastern Michigan Chapter. “This includes having a presence at events such as the 2nd Annual Community Blood Drive and Health Fair presented by InPro. We applaud InPro for working to keep our community informed about what they need to know to remain healthy and safe during the summer season.”

The 2nd annual American Red Cross Community Blood Drive and Health Fair, presented by InPro Insurance Group, will feature information about health and safety services available in southeast Michigan, safety product displays, activities for the entire family, and more than 30 sponsoring businesses such as local restaurants and food vendors. You will also have the opportunity to donate life-saving blood on-site if you pre-register. The fair will also feature an appearance by the Troy Fire Department and a performance by the Troy Athens High School marching band.

Residents are encouraged to come and enjoy free food, prize drawings and even a specialty car display. Those interested in donating blood at the fair can register at www.givelife.org and enter the sponsor code inproagent. For more information, please visit www.inproagent.com.
