HINGHAM, MA, June 2, 2007 –Phillips DiPisa, an executive search firm serving healthcare providers, managed care organizations and life sciences firms, today announced that one of its principals, Dan Phillips, will again ride in the Pan-Mass Challenge.

The PMC is a 192-mile, two day bike ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown. It raises money to finance cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund.

This is Dan’s fourth PMC. He is again riding in honor of his brother, Tom, who died in 2004 after battling cancer for four years. “For me, riding in the PMC is a minor sacrifice,” noted Dan. “The PMC is a way for the healthy to fight for the ill and for all of us to invest in the future. Being part of this effort is my way of keeping the spirit of Tom alive by using my strength for those who cannot.”

Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has been successful in mobilizing increased support from many different constituencies. It strives to inspire even more supporters to raise more money and afford Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
