Amatics Wins Vehicle Tracking Contract with South Cambridgeshire District Council

South Cambridgeshire District Council recently awarded a five year vehicle tracking contract to Amatics. The contract award was the culmination of an in-depth evaluation phase where a range of vehicle tracking systems suitable for use within their waste collection vehicles was assessed. The selection was based primarily on the functionality and value for money of the Amatics fully managed application.

Geoff Sissons, Applications & Information Manager at South Cambridgeshire District Council commented:

Amatics have been able to meet our needs most effectively and stood out from the majority of potential suppliers in two main ways. One is that it is a fully web based system. The other is that Amatics have actively demonstrated that they can integrate our GIS mapping with their own application using open standards. Mapping was one of our key concerns and the Amatics solution delivers exactly what we are looking for. We are very pleased with the results and are now in the process of planning a smooth and successful implementation.
