Flooring High-Flyer Lends Support to Budding Entrepreneurs

South Cheshire business guru Dawn Gibbins MBE is a guest speaker at a dynamic event designed to inspire people to set up their own business. The 2003 Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year, recently listed among the top 100 entrepreneurs, will be speaking at Startups Live in Manchester.

Dawn is the founder and chairman of Flowcrete Group plc, a global market leader in commercial and industrial flooring with 26 offices worldwide and eight manufacturing sites of excellence across the globe. The company’s headquarters are in Sandbach, Cheshire. Recent projects include large-scale work at Wembley, Ascot Racecourse, Dubai and Dublin International Airports.

In addition to her position at Flowcrete, Dawn is a member of the Government’s manufacturing think tank, and has done much work to promote the industry and bring about positive change. She is also a national ambassador for the DTI Manufacturing Advisory Service and International ambassador for the Feng Shui Society.
