Mouser Receives 14 Awards at 2007 EDS Conference

Mouser Electronics, Inc., known for its rapid introduction of the newest products, today announced it received 14 awards from 12 of its suppliers at the recently held Electronic Distribution Show and Conference (EDS) in Las Vegas, NV.

Suppliers cited several reasons for the distributor’s numerous honors, including double-digit sales growth, the ability to roll out new products quickly, and employee commitment to teamwork. Suppliers said that, overall, Mouser is extremely easy to do business with.

Mouser garnered the prestigious Catalog Distributor of the Year award from Vishay Americas, and Distributor of the Year from both VCC and Phihong.

Other awards included Outstanding Sales and Support from NTE, Outstanding Distributor with highest sales growth from Central Semiconductor, and Distribution Excellence from APEM, as well as the President’s Award from Ohmite.

Rounding out the field were Greatest Percent Sales Growth from Qualtek Electronics, Superior Sales Achievement and Platinum Level Distributor from Keystone Electronics, Outstanding Growth from Dialight, and Top Percent POS Distribution Sales Growth from Spectrum Control.

In addition to these awards, three Mouser employees were also recognized. Greg Hancock and Eric Flodstrom each received Product Manager of the Year from VCC, and Krystal Jackson, Interconnects Product Director, received the Diamond Award from Cinch for outstanding distributor support.
