Polymerupdate office relocates to the centre of Mumbai's business district

It was in November 1999 that Polymerupdate first established an office in Mumbai, the business capital of India. Following rapid expansion polymerupdate quickly moved from a small office in Southern Mumbai to a larger office located in central Mumbai. In May 2002, the office once again shifted, this time to suburban Mumbai with a view to help trigger profits and cut high rent costs. At the time, the polymerupdate team had vowed that they would return to the central hub of the business district, not as tenants but as owners . On April 6 of this year the dream was fulfilled as the polymerupdate team moved to it's own office located at the very same premise it opted out off a few years earlier.

Recruiting personnel and increasing staffing levels have become a critical management issue for further expanding the scale of operations and enhancing client satisfaction at polymerupdate.com. K. Marg, Near Peninsula Park, Lower Parel, Mumbai - 400013, Maharashtra, INDIA.

Unlike the previous premises the floor plan has been designed based on the concept "Creative/Commitment/Comfort." The polymeupdate office occupies the third floor of the building and houses the head office of the group with a reception area, the CEO's cabin, senior management work areas, editorial, accounts and technology related work stations as well as a focus group interview room. A recreation zone and a fully equipped pantry have also been provided for the benefit of the employees.


Gala opening ceremony on April 6
On April 6 we held a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new office, Inviting Polymerupdate CEO & Founder Sajjid Mitha and his wife Laveena Mitha to begin the festivities with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. In an address to the staff, Mr. Mitha delivered a message encouraging everyone to "begin playing a keener role in driving polymerupdate towad a new pinnacle of global success." Mr. Mitha said, " as the technological innovations are helping shrink the world, India is today being looked at in a new light. With an impressive GDP growth of nearly 10%, India can no more be ignored. We are fortunate to be here at this exciting time. Even in our journey toward excellence we must not just be global in our outlook but must strive toward internal excellence, shifting operational priorities to keep ahead of the times. "

He said, " I would like you to achieve maximization of customer value through every business process we have put in place. We must offer our client more than what he expects from us and that to this service must be given at a very low cost. We must innovate rapidly and leverage from an already envied position of being a global leader in providing plastics intelligence at an affordable price. Mr. Mitha exhorted the employees to " our company must remain most cost effective and use he whole world as a network of rich resources. In the afternoon we held an open house to familiarize staff with the new premises, providing a tour of the office and the opportunity to chat with the CEO.

2007 will be the Eighth year for Polymerpdate's operations.
