Savannah, GA, June 6, 2007: Americans’ increased interest in the environment – and their desire for improving it - has helped fuel demand for Farmers’ Almanac TV programming. In just a few months, the multi-media startup has received additional distribution opportunities from public television, cable and Internet properties, vastly increasing the number of potential viewers for Farmers’ Almanac TV video and programming. Now, Farmers’ Almanac TV video and programming is available on:

• Almost 90% of the nation’s public television households.

• WeatherBug.com, a leading provider of live, local weather information to millions of consumers via the Internet and mobile devices.

• BlueHighways TV (BlueHighwaysTV.com), a linear cable channel that explores the people, stories, traditions, and music of America.

“The Farmers’ Almanac was the authority on green and sustainable living long before those words became trendy,” said Bill Chisholm, CEO of Farmers’ Almanac TV. “The increased demand for our content shows that Americans trust and use this revered publication, and everything associated with it.”

Farmers’ Almanac TV, a magazine-style show inspired by the 189-year-old Farmers’ Almanac, debuted on national public television in April 2006, reaching just 25% of available households. Now in its second season, the show is available to 90% of U.S. public television households (for analog and digital), including those in 17 of the top 20 markets.

“Our viewers enjoy the ‘Farmers’ Almanac TV’ series,” said Nancy Southgate, Program Director for KAET, a PBS member station in Phoenix, Arizona. “In fact, it plays a role in KAET's success as one of the top five most-watched PBS stations in the country.”

The show focuses upon fascinating personalities, unique events and admirable endeavors from both the familiar and remote corners of the North American landscape. It also includes hints and tips about gardening, cooking, weather, sustainable living, conservation and other topics taken straight from actual Almanac pages.

Much of the show’s video is redistributed on the Farmers’ Almanac TV web site, FarmersAlmanacTV.com. It can also be seen on Brightcove.com, and is available for syndication in the Brightcove syndication marketplace.

In May, Farmers’ Almanac TV’s weather-related video content was launched on WeatherBug’s desktop application and will soon be rolled to its Web property, www.weatherbug.com. WeatherBug has over 16 million unique visitors and is a top 10 News and Information site on the Web*.

“We pride ourselves in bringing users the most live, local weather information available anywhere in the world. People come to our properties multiple times a day because our content is relevant, accurate and engaging,” said Michael Rosen, senior vice president and general manager of WeatherBug consumer division. “Now, we are able to offer our visitors entertaining and informational video about weather facts, insights and folklore from a strong partner – Farmers’ Almanac TV.”

Meanwhile, BlueHighways TV premiered Farmers’ Almanac TV’s second series, Farmers’ Almanac TV Presents on the cable television channel in March. Each show focuses on a single segment from the Farmers’ Almanac TV series.

“We loved the Farmers’ Almanac TV public television series,” said Stan Hitchcock, BlueHighways TV chairman and CEO. “We knew our audience would want to see a 30-minute show that elaborated on some of its most popular segments.”

Chisholm said Farmers’ Almanac TV is pursuing additional distribution venues on IPTV, VOD, Internet Television, cable and satellite, so anyone, anywhere can “learn and laugh” with Farmers’ Almanac TV video.

“Sync us, stream us, download us, log on or blog with us. Or watch us on television,” Chisholm said. “Come see what the 189-year-old buzz is all about.”
