New fashion retail and social networking site OSOYOU.com has announced the appointment of Mandy Key as its Commercial Director. Mandy joins from emap where she held the position of Publishing Director, responsible for teen titles Bliss and Sneak magazines, as well as the Bliss website.

Beginning her career at Centaur in 1992, Mandy later joined the advertising department at emap, looking after Parenting titles before becoming publisher of emap Australia Parenting titles in 1998. In 2001 she moved to emap’s online music portfolio, becoming its Commercial Director. In 2003 Mandy launched emap’s mobile business with ‘3’, as well as relaunching More magazine and securing the coveted ‘Publisher of the Year’ honour at the Emap Awards.

Dawn Bebe, MD of OSOYOU.com, said: ‘I’m delighted to welcome Mandy on board. Her extensive media background and proven experience in publishing will really help drive the OSOYOU brand forward towards launch, and to our target of becoming the leading shopping social network in the UK within 12 months.‘

Launching to consumers in early Summer, OSOYOU.com will be the first fashion-focused Web 2.0 site, offering women a ‘virtual shopping experience’, combining shopping with a sophisticated online social network. Headed up by Dawn Bebe, ex-MD of emap élan, OSOYOU.com’s content will be the only comprehensive virtual fashion experience for women, which allows users access to a wide range of products and then share style tips and ideas with a like-minded community. It will allow users to drag and drop items into their own style file and share knowledge and advice to other users who sign up to the social network on the site.
