Los Angeles, California – With the growing capabilities of cell phones, there’s a huge need for writers to create compelling content, Mobile Content Writers intends to fill that need and then some with the launch of MobileContentWriters.com. The website offers insights into and links to the burgeoning field of mobile content.

“When you have a new medium with a small footprint, you need big ideas,” says Lynn Walford, whose ideas bubble off the pages of the Mobile Content Writers’ website that includes a blog, mobile content articles, humor, and suggestions.

The goal of the project is to “think outside of the handset and into the hearts of users” says Walford who has many theories about how mobile content should be written. She is also developing formats for scripts to make it easier for mobile content development. The website contains articles about mobile concepts, frequent blog entries about mobile content issues, news feeds, reviews, commentary and humor.

Owner/editor of Mobile Content Writers, Ms. Walford has the kind of varied background that makes sense for a mobile content writer, she has been covering breaking technology for years and written for Investor’s Business Daily and Wireless Week. She has also written; very short poetry, greeting cards, scripts and won “25 Words or Less” short story contests.

“Mobile content borrows aspects of other media. We want mobile content to be the winning combination of best of the best for the best results,” said Walford.
