Edinburgh, UK, June 2007 - Red Media today announced a 30% growth strategy over the coming year in its online sector. Red Media, the company behind http://www.redwebsolutions.com/ and http://salesofas.com/ have outlined a large-scale development model for the coming 12 months.

The news comes off the back of strong industry projections, and a growth in demand for wider ad distribution online. The planned growth is set to rapidly expand the media giant's asset base, whilst bringing an estimated 60% increase in traffic across the network. With substantial offline holdings, the decision has been taken to mark astonishing readership in the online division by devoting increasing resources to developing and harnessing established online brands, whilst injecting investment in brand generation and recognition for its fledgling media assets. The move has been seen as an ambitious attempt to realign online advertising revenue with offline sales, whilst contemporaneous measures are taken to streamline the offline operation and increase efficiency.

Red Media spokesman Alan Martin heralded the announcement an ambitious but achievable goal. "At Red Media, we are confident and determined to be seen as a major player in the virtual domain, as well as offline. Our growth strategy over the next year will increase our net value considerably, and create and maintain a significant online presence through our developing media channels".
Work has already begun on developing http://www.salesofas.com/ and advertiser relations to bring it in line with the Red Media long-term regeneration strategy, whilst investment in cementing and strengthening brand advertising will continue into next quarter.
Despite the short timeframe, http://www.salesofas.com/ has progressed significantly to become a sizeable stand-alone asset within the media network. It is thought that with continuing investment and ongoing client-orientated development, Red Media can increase its share of online advertising spend to strengthen and nurture through its rapid expansion.
