Simon Pearce Appoints Senior Creative Director

Simon Pearce, Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Ross as Senior Creative Director. Ross will expand her previous role as Director of Product Development to include marketing and visual merchandising and will continue reporting to Justin Wheating, Chief Operating and Financial Officer. Also announced is the promotion of James Zilian to Senior Designer. Zilian will continue reporting to Ross.

Justin Wheating stated, "Since joining the company, Liz's work with our designer James Zilian has produced some wonderful new products and it is exciting to be able to expand her role to enable her to use her creativity in presenting Simon's vision to our customers."

Zilian, who has been with the company for 2 years, initiated the new Studio and Pantry collections unveiled this summer in the new Simon Pearce store in South Coast Plaza, which opened this June. The collections will also be shown at Simon Pearce’s new showroom in AmericasMart® during this July’s Atlanta International Gift Show & Home Furnishing Market®.”

Prior to joining Simon Pearce in November 2006, Ross was Director of Product Development for Restoration Hardware and previously held the position of Design Director at Williams Sonoma. Liz had her own product line as well as a design and consulting company for over ten years, creating and licensing products to the home, tabletop and giftware industries.
