Darcorp Properties Helps Raise Awareness through the Surfrider Foundation

June 13, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Darcorp Properties will become members of the Surfrider Foundation on International Surfing Day, June 21st, 2007. This official, unofficial holiday gives beach lovers the chance to promote and celebrate the sport while bringing awareness to the state of our oceans and beaches. The principles of Darcorp have been known to donate and facilitate grants for cancer research, battered women, natural disaster victims, and developmental research facilities to name a few.

The goal is simple: take the day, or at least a part of the day, to go out, catch a wave or three and — while you're at it — help clean up your favorite beach. In conjunction with the Surfrider Foundation, Surfing Magazine will be organizing a handful of official beach cleanups, but that doesn't stop you from beautifying your own stretch of sand.

The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches. Founded in 1984, Surfrider Foundation's most important coastal environmental work is carried out by Surfrider Foundation's 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian coasts.

Darcorp Properties, Inc. is the Southern California management and brokerage arm of the Darcorp Companies based in Diamond Bar, CA. The Darcorp Companies have over $400 million in commercial real estate transaction experience and have managed more than 4,000,000 feet in addition to significant personal real estate investments by its principles.
