CXT Software expands X Mobile's(TM) device compatibility.

Phoenix, AZ( June 2007)- CXT Software, aleading edge provide of same day and expedited delivery industry, announces additional mobile devices and add-on scanners that are compatible with its flagship mobile delivery application, X Mobile.

X Mobile is a java based application that supports cross-platform use on a vast number of different devices and configuration profiles encompassing all major cellular netwoks including CDMA, iDEN and GPRS networks. X mobile may be deployed to a variety of fleets with different and occasionally unrelated business requirements. With support for a multitude of platforms, CXT Software customers may purchase an array of devices that utilize these requirements and assist in significantly reducing cost by mixing and matching configurations based on need. X Mobile utilizes the capabilities available on different hardware platforms without requiring unique compiled applications. For example, if a device is fitted with a barcode scanner or signature capture pad, X mobile will enable the appropriate feature set.

X mobile has been field tested on devices running Windows(R)Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 2003, Palm(R)OS 5.4.9, and Motorola iDEN(R). Hardware devices tested include Psion Teklogix's Workabout Pro, Motorola HC700, Symbol's(TM) MC70 and MC35 and Treo's(TM) 700p and 700wx. This recent increase in compatibility of mobile devices is in addition to the industry-standard iDEN by Motorola, including the i355 and i605 for the Sprint(R) Nextel Network, utilizing scanner attachments form AirClic(R) and PointeWare.
