Big Apple Convention Brings Stars of Movies, TV, Comics, Boxing, Wrestling, and Rock & Roll to NYC June 23-24!

The Big Apple Convention, New York’s longest-running comic book/science-fiction/fantasy/pop culture convention, returns on June 23-24 to the Penn Plaza Pavilion, 401 7th Ave at 33rd St. in New York City. A star-studded lineup of celebrities from movies, TV, boxing, wrestling, and more will be present, along with over a hundred dealers selling comics, toys, and other collectibles, panel discussions, games, and more.

For the first time ever, through the sponsorship of Going.com, people will be able to RSVP for the convention on http://going.com/bigappleconevent and automatically be entered in a chance to win a $1000 shopping spree or $500 gaming shopping spree at the convention!

Our featured guests are “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (They Live, WWE Superstar), David Faustino (Married…With Children), Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster from The Munsters), former multiple time world champion boxer Iran Barkley, and rock & roll legend Gary Lewis (of Gary Lewis and the Playboys). The Big Apple convention is known for its extensive list of spectacular comic book talents, and this show is no exception. NY Jedi will be hosting its famous Lightsaber Academy. There will also be discussion panels, celebrity Q&A sessions, and special surprise entertainments and programming, film and performances.

For the first time, The Big Apple Convention will have a full game room, featuring the latest and greatest in role-playing games, board games, and more, with tournaments and prizes.
And don’t forget the ever-popular Costume Contest, hosted by Captain Zorikh and Jolie Voltaire, acknowledged as being the most fun costume contest on the east coast!
