Leading meaningful travel provider i-to-i is offering aspiring Attenboroughs the opportunity to kick start their careers with the launch of a new film course in the vibrant South African city of Cape Town.

In a city boasting stunning settings and diverse cultures, this hands-on course offers a unique and exciting introduction to the art of documentary film making. Launching in August this year, the two-week course has been designed by leading industry professionals who will provide expert guidance and tuition throughout.

Students will spend their time both in and out of the classroom, filming at various locations around Cape Town. As part of the course, tutees will also visit numerous i-to-i volunteer projects, including orphanages and animal rescue centres, giving them the opportunity to learn about a more ‘meaningful’ side to film making.
In keeping with the current climate of multi-skilling in the TV industry, the course will teach students the basics of camera operation, research and organisation of shoots, directing, producing and editing.
By the end of the course all students will have produced their own unique five minute film piece to add to their portfolios.
This two week project costs £2995. Food, accommodation, orientation and airport pick-up are included. To learn more about this project or to look at the other projects available through i-to-i, please call 0870 333 2332 or visit our website www.i-to-i.com.
