kor group Promotes James Grady and Jim Gibson to Associate

kor group is proud to announce the promotion of Jim Gibson and James Grady to Associates. The duo has a proven track record of developing successful and compelling communications.

In addition to the stellar design work and sterling service they already provide, Jim and James will act as project managers, Team Leaders and Creative Directors to Junior Designers. They will also be working closely with the partners on developing and moving kor group’s own business strategies.

“We are thrilled to be expanding the role that Jim and James play here at kor group,” states Anne Callahan, kor group partner. “They are incredibly talented designers who are keeping our creative solutions at the top of the marketplace.”

Moving forward, the Associates will manage much of the creative process for projects while the partners will be delving further into research and strategy for clients. “The change will allow kor group to further deepen our capabilities while remaining competitive with the larger agencies,” explains MB Jarosik, kor group partner.

A kor group veteran of 9 years, Jim Gibson has a keen eye for detail and color and uses it to produce work that is both sophisticated and effective. In his time at kor group Jim has worked with a variety of clients including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Ballet, Beaver Country Day School, Berklee College of Music, Coastal Medical, Emerson College, Huntington Theatre, Northeastern University and Union College. Jim studied graphic design at the Massachusetts College of Art, concentrating on publication design and typography.

James Grady has spent 7 years at kor group. With a classic Swiss design training that emphasizes precision and balance, James has extensive experience designing materials for a broad range of markets and communicating with high-level donors and other key audiences. In his time at kor group James has worked with a variety of clients including, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, The Congress Group, Colliers International, Emerson College, The Summit Country Day School and Yale Appliance + Lighting. James is a graduate of the Fine Arts Visual Design program at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
