CONCERN names new regional director for Lehigh Valley

Tonya Klemmer has been named Regional Director for CONCERN’s Lehigh Valley regional office, Bethlehem.

A resident of Alburtis, Klemmer will be responsible for all operations at the office site including overseeing all staff and caseload activities and supervising all programs including treatment foster care, behavioral health services and foster care for children with disability programs.

Prior to being named Regional Director, Klemmer served as assistant regional director for the office. She also has served as a supervisor in the agency’s Greater Berks regional office, Fleetwood and as a caseworker with the agency. She holds her Master in Social Work from Marywood University, Center Valley, and her Bachelor in Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University, State College.

CONCERN is a private, nonprofit, community-based child welfare agency providing foster care, counseling, community life skills and delinquency services to abused, neglected and delinquent children and to families in need. It serves over 500 children per day through 12 sites, including approximately 200 children per day through its Greater Berks and Lehigh Valley regional offices, which have sites in Bethlehem, Fleetwood, Wyomissing and York.
