Free Event To Help Sportscasters Build Careers

June 2007, Los Angeles — Sportscasting veterans and hopefuls can gain invaluable career advice at a free upcoming sportscasting webinar. The event will reveal answers to the biggest questions about careers in sports broadcasting.

Among the dozens of questions that will be answered are:
* How to become a sportscaster…even if you’re not currently in college
* How to find unadvertised sportscasting jobs
* Two common demo mistakes to avoid like the plague

The free webinar is a one-time only event. It is being co-hosted by two of the sportscasting industry’s most influential talent developers, Sportscasters Talent Agency of America CEO Jon Chelesnik, and SportsBroadcasting.org CEO Michael Madden. Chelesnik is a sportscaster on Sporting News Radio Network and a former talk show host on ESPN Radio Network. Madden has earned a reputation over the past decade as one of the nation’s top developers of young sportscasting talent.

The free one-hour webinar will be Thursday June 28 at 7:00 pm EDT, 4:00 PDT. The event will be archived for anyone who is unable to participate in the live event.
