FATAL1TY ANNOUNCES THE SIGNING OF JOHAN “toxjq” QUICK AS NEWEST FREE PLAYER

(Calabasas, CA) –Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel and the Free Players Organization (FPO) announce that Johan “toxjq” Quick has signed an agreement to become an F-Player as part of the FPO. The 23 year old Swedish professional PC video gamer, an emerging Global star who currently is widely recognized as the premier Quake 4 player in the world, is presently competing in the World Series of Video Games (WSVG) tour. Toxjq is the third player to join the FPO, which now includes his countryman Magnus “fojji” Olsson and Alessandro “stermy” Avallone from Italy. Toxjq and fojji have teamed up in the past to win major 2 vs. 2 and 4 vs. 4 Quake competitions.

“Toxjq represents the type of quality player and person that we want as a member of the Free Players Organization”, said Wendel. “I know he will represent the group well in every respect.” Toxjq indicated his pleasure with this new association. “Fatal1ty and the Free Players Organization have done so much for gaming and are professional in everything they do, so accepting their invitation to join them was an easy decision”, said Johan. “I’m confident that we can do great things together.”

This new alliance was made official before Quick’s participation in the WSVG tournament in Louisville, KY, held June 21-24. Toxjq looks forward to competing in the next WSVG event taking place at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas, TX from July 5-8.
