Costa Mesa, CA July 3, 2007- It is the Masters Hall of Fame distinct honor and pleasure to announce that Felicia Oh has been nominated by Masters Hall of Fame Board Member Lou Salseda for induction into the 2007 Masters Hall of Fame.
Felicia Oh said she is pleased to attend the 7th Annual Masters Hall of Fame Awards event, being held at the Hilton Hotel and Resort in Costa Mesa California on Saturday August 11th, 2007. Felicia Oh was selected by the Masters Hall of Fame Board Member Lou Salseda for her continued Leadership and Devotion to the Martial Arts Community.
Felicia Oh was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and was intrigued by the notion that technique and skill could overcome size and strength. She watched a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class; as a result started training the next day. Felicia has since dominated many competitions and was awarded her black belt by Jean Jacques Machado after only four and a half years of training - an achievement that has left many of her male training partners both envious and struggling to keep up.

In 2007, Felicia became the first woman to win both the Pan American Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Gi and No-Gi divisions. After winning the ADCC North American Trials and securing her spot to represent the United States at the ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championship, she had convincing victories over a multi-time BJJ World Champion and a Japanese superstar which put her in the finals of the most prestigious grappling event in the world. In September, Felicia will represent the USA at the first World Wrestling Games for Grappling in Atalya, Turkey.

Felicia currently teaches Women's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as Kettlebells at Big John McCarthy's Ultimate Training Academy in Valencia, CA . She is also a guest instructor with Jean Jacques Machado's Online Training Program.
Felicia continues Teach, Coach and Mentor Martial Artist; she is an avid competitor and has won many Jiu Jitsu competitions.
