Blaze King Industries, Inc., the premiere manufacturer of wood and gas heating appliances, is celebrating their 30th Anniversary.

Founded in 1977, Blaze King has since earned a reputation for large, high BTU producing wood stoves. Over the past 30 years, Blaze King has pioneered many technologies including the use of catalytic combustors in an effort to clean emissions and improve efficiencies. Blaze King's hard work paid off big time in 1984 when the Oregon Department of Air Quality, the precursor to today's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), awarded the Blaze King KEJ1101 the first ever Wood Stove Certification.

Blaze King currently produces the most efficient wood stoves on the market at 82.5 percent. They are the largest manufacturer of catalytic wood stoves in the USA and Canada with production facilities in both countries. With much notoriety and acclaim, Blaze King introduced a full line of gas heating appliances in 1992.

Innovation and new product introductions continue with several items becoming available this anniversary year. One of the newest is the Torino 1605 Gas Stove which has an efficiency rating of up to 80 percent. It comes with a variable speed fan and wireless remote thermostat. The gas stove uses an electronic ignition with a standing or intermittent pilot. The Torino 1605 can be operated during power failures. More than 600 professional retailers throughout North America and Japan sell the complete line of Blaze King products.
