July 4, 2007 08:00 AM EST - Atlanta, GA —RTI (Restaurant Technology, Inc.) has announced the addition of several new interfaces to its RTIconnect back office software for quick-service restaurants. The changes will enable more office automation for restaurant operators using Great Plains, Paychex, and Cougar Mountain software, as well as several POS systems.

The recent export changes enable restaurants using RTIconnect to export time punch data into Paychex software for payroll processing; export G/L and Payroll data into Great Plains software; and export A/P, G/L, and Payroll data into Cougar Mountain software.

The new import changes enable restaurants to import POS or timeclock data into RTIconnect from these POS systems: ADP, Attendance Rx, Casio QT-7300, CRS 4000, Digital Dining (Menusoft), PAR GT or ExAlt, and Sharp UP-700.

“These interfaces enable more restaurants to post cash or inventory data into third-party payroll and/or accounting systems, saving hours of data entry time,” said Greg Waddell, RTI’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “In addition, it helps our users complete their electronic ‘link’ between the restaurant and the headquarter’s office.”

The RTIconnect back office system currently interfaces with more than 30 different POS systems, including most of the major quick-service POS providers. Additional integration points include accounting systems, payroll providers, time clocks, and vendor/ordering partners.
