Your WebCode announces the launch of its new source code website

Your WebCode offers a new twist to posting web related source code online. Unlike many of the other script archives, Your WebCode runs monthly contests and pays cash to a few users every month.

As with any source code website, Your WebCode (www.yourwebcode.com) allows users the ability to search or browse through their extensive database of internet related scripts. They also allow developers to create a free account, and post as many code submissions to the site as they want, for free. But unlike most of the others, Your WebCode surfers can make money for doing it, through two monthly contests.

Not unlike most other script archives, Your WebCode allows users to rate code submissions, on a scale of one to five. At the end of every month, the votes are tallied, and the author of the highest rated code (only counting one month worth of votes) is announced the winner. This member will receive a portion of the site’s revenue, sent to his PayPal (paypal.com) account.

The other contest run monthly was designed to encourage users to post reviews and feedback of other member’s submissions. That’s why, at the end of the month we also tally up the number of approved code reviews, and the member with the most posted reviews wins. The payout is the same as with the highest rated code contest, it’s a portion of the site earnings sent to this users PayPal (paypal.com) account.

While the payouts are relatively small right now, due to our limited web presence, we are steadily gaining traffic, and revenues are rising. The more the site makes, the more the members make!
