AUTISM SEMINAR PROVIDES COPING STRATEGIES FOR PARENTS OF AUTISTIC AND SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN

New York -– Your Autism Coach (YAC) will conduct two, interactive parent seminars in New York City in July. YAC provides a comprehensive program of personalized guidance and support for parents and caregivers of autistic and special needs children. A diagnosis of autism is heartbreaking for parents, who have to struggle to find appropriate educational programs and therapeutic services, and also deal with the personal and family consequences of having an autistic child.

How to Successfully Live Your Life While Raising A Special Needs Child is designed to give parents coping strategies and proven techniques to maintain a healthy, emotional outlook. Topics include: 1) a child’s diagnosis and its lasting effects on your life and family 2) finding a balance between home and work and 3) taking care of your special needs child.

The seminars will be held on Saturday, July 14 in Flushing, New York and on Saturday, July 28 in Manhattan. The time is 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for both days.
