College Park, MD – July 12, 2007 – Goozex, Inc. a leading video game trading community estimates that its members have saved over $230,000 in video game purchases in the past 12 months. Further analysis based on a recent survey of Goozex members indicates that a majority of members can save on average $3,000 over the next few years by trading their used video games on the website. Compared to alternatives, members save about $20 per game when trading on the game community website.

Games are traded for points, which act as a virtual currency for members to exchange their video games between each other. The point values are determined by a patent pending algorithm designed to give fair market values for each game. Hundreds of thousands of points are exchanged each month on the company’s website. Nearly 5 million Goozex points have been exchanged between members since the Company launched the trading website in July, 2006.

The potential cost savings can be enormous for any member on Goozex. The Entertainment Software Association states that the average gamer has been playing games for 12 years. Further analysis from a recent company internal survey of its members indicates that the average game library size of users is around 60 games. In addition, members reported having an average purchasing habit of two games per month. Multiplying 12 years by the average number of games each member gets on Goozex over a year, the Company estimates each user can save thousands of dollars in a few years.

“These figures significantly exceed our expectations and draw upon our core value proposition to save money by trading your games while getting a fair value for them,” said Valerio Zanini, CEO and Co-Founder of Goozex.com. Zanini continued, “The volume of trades and the extremely large library size reflect that our members have bought into a fantastic way to save money on their games. We have received a lot of positive feedback from a wide range of members about how much money they have saved from college students to parents. What is really exciting is that parents that allow their kids to trade games on Goozex may save substantial funds by the time their kids are ready for college..”

The Company estimated $230,000 in total savings by adding the fair market values of used games at retail for each game traded on Goozex during the last 12 months, minus the cost of trading the games on Goozex. As an additional saving, Goozex.com is currently running free trades until the end of July, 2007.
