[Walnut Creek, CA] The Burton/Enright Group (www.burtonenright.com) has been named one of the Bay Area’s Top 25 Independent Wealth Advisory Firms and one of the top advisory firms in the nation by two separate organizations. The Winner’s Circle, an independent financial ranking survey working in conjunction with the San Francisco Business Times (www.sanfrancisco.bizjournals.com) named The Burton Enright Group one of the Top 25 Bay Area firms. Wealth Manager magazine placed the Burton/Enright Group among the nation’s Top 400 firms in its July/August issue.

The Burton/Enright Group manages nearly $300 million for area businesses, clients and their families. Last year it was the only independent firm named to the list of top Bay Area wealth-management firms. Selections are based on ethical conduct, years in business, services offered, assets under management and other criteria.

“This further validates our client-first philosophy. One of the best ways for individuals to achieve financial independence is by working with an independent financial adviser,” says Burton/Enright Group partner and co-founder Bob Enright, CFP. “Last year we were the only independent firm on a list of 45. One year later we entered the Top 25. This extraordinary success proves our strategy is working.” Enright co-founded the firm in 1989 with Peter Burton, ChFC. Each partner has over 20 years of financial-services industry experience. “Unlike many of our competitors, as independent advisers we’re not tied to a quota system because this may not benefit the clients,” notes Enright.

“When clients deal with the Burton/Enright Group they can meet with Burton and Enright,” says co-founder Peter Burton. “We offer clients customized solutions. We meet with them face-to-face to learn their needs and concerns before providing solutions. Because our names are on the door, we take our clients’ financial futures as seriously as they do. We have a vested interest in their long-term, financial well being.”

The Burton/Enright Group specializes in providing comprehensive wealth-management services to high-net-worth individuals and their families including long-term financial and retirement planning, tax-minimization strategies, estate planning, college funding and specialized insurance coverage. As independent financial advisers the Burton/Enright Group uses products and services from numerous providers, giving clients access to an in-depth variety of highly efficient financial services and money managers.

Enright is also Chairman of the Board for the Janet Pomeroy Center (formerly the San Francisco Recreation Center for the Handicapped) and was named to the Financial Advisors Hall of Fame by Research magazine, an independent trade publication.
