Houston, TX - McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. (MHI) recently announced the appointment of Pat O’Hanlon to Regional Director of Land Acquisitions. He will now oversee all land deals for the Texas based company in the Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth and San Antonio areas.

Pat has been a part of the MHI team for 2 years, starting out as a Land Acquisitions Manager for Dallas/Fort Worth. He also has experience in the brokerage, land development and appraisal sides of real estate before coming to MHI. Pat is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BBA in Real Estate and currently resides in Colleyville with his wife and two children.

In his new position, Pat hopes to concentrate on expanding the Coventry and Plantation brands within his region and is ready to build new relationships in Austin and San Antonio.

“I am very excited about the opportunity I’ve been given,” O’Hanlon said. “I look forward to working with the other MHI divisions in Austin and San Antonio and also expanding my knowledge of those markets.”

MHI offers added flexibility for homebuyers and developers alike with distinct brands, including Coventry Homes, Plantation Homes, Pioneer Homes and Carmel Builders. Industry peers have recognized MHI with numerous accolades for product design, interior merchandising and marketing programs. Most recently, the Greater Houston Builders Association recognized Plantation Homes during the 2007 PRISM Awards ceremony for the Product Design of the Year, two Interior Design of the Year awards and the Merchandising Grand Award.

MHI’s highest honor comes directly from its customers. Over 98% of MHI’s customers are willing to recommend MHI to their family and friends. San Antonio boasts the highest customer satisfaction rating company-wide.

In the coming months, MHI has plans to expand its roster of designs to include townhomes, garden homes and a specialty product geared toward retirement living. The introduction of its newest brand, Carmel Builders¯an urban townhome collection, is also in the planning stages.

MHI is ranked among the top 30 homebuilders in the nation, according to Builder Magazine. Since 1988, customer satisfaction has been the key to MHI's success, and by the end of this year, the builder will have helped more than 30,000 families realize their dream of owning a new home.

MHI builds homes in five of the largest markets in Texas: Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
