Select Seats Still Available for The Billys Bluegrass, Rock and Comedy Show

The OC Pavilion performing arts center (http://www.ocpavilion.com) is pleased to offer a select number of seats for The Billys, An Evening of Bluegrass, Classic Rock & Comedy. The concert begins at 8 PM on July 28 and doors to the OC Pavilion and Ambrosia Restaurant open at 5:00 PM.

The Billy’s features four boys that grew up in the mountains (of Malibu) and played together, off & on, for about fifteen years. They always loved Bluegrass, Country & Folk music… until one day, they discovered songbooks by: The Beatles, The Eagles, Badfinger and Petula Clark, just to name a few. Since they had no recordings of these artists, The Billys performed each selection with their own brand of musicality/comedy with fantastic results; in fact, a certain Anaheim-based theme park hired The Billy’s to perform their show twice a week for the past five years. The one night only show will include some old selections along with "brand-spankin'-new-songs-never-heard-in-public" material.

The Billys have recorded Bluegrass versions of the Beatles' "Ticket To Ride", Badfinger's "No Matter What", Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me" and The Bee Gee's "Stayin" Alive." Some higher profile fans include Monty Python's Eric Idle and Queen's guitarist, Brian May.

The OC Pavilion is home to an intimate 529 person capacity theatre and the 5-star, world class restaurant Ambrosia. The Vault VIP Lounge is open before and after each theatre performance, offering appetizers, drinks and desserts featuring a live jazz trio. The Vault VIP Lounge, formerly a bank vault, retains its authenticity by keeping the original vault doors with the ambiance of an intimate jazz lounge with custom leather seating, romantic lighting and hightop pedestal tables.
