Scriptovia.com, a Seattle-area startup, today announced that its founder and CEO, Aseem Badshah, has been selected as a panelist at the 2007 Mashup conference held in San Francisco on July 16-17. Badshah, who started the proof of concept for Scriptovia.com when he was 16, will sit on the Totally Wired Teen Superstar Panel: Insights from some of the most influential teens on the Web today, which will cover how teens use technology and how to reach teens without turning them off. The 2007 Mashup Conference is sponsored by YPulse.com and Yahoo!, and includes other speakers and panelists who are executives from companies such as Epic Records, DigitalMedia Hearst, Yahoo! Music, Facebook, MySpace, MTV and PhotoBucket.

“I am flattered to be invited to participate at the 2007 Mashup among some of the most influential individuals in new media and Web 2.0,” stated Badshah. “The 2007 Mashup is bringing together a very diverse group of thought leaders and I think attendees will walk away with a whole new way of thinking and appreciation for the teen market and culture.”
The 2007 Mashup targets marketers who want to reach today's totally wired generation and will present interactive, thought-provoking discussions and presentations covering marketing and media topics related to online video, podcasting, SMS and cell phones, instant messaging, video gaming, online music and more. Attendees will include brand marketers, media buyers, media planners and other thought leaders who decide which new media to use, and who also drive the adoption of new products, technologies, and brands.
"Aseem represents the new, much younger face of entrepreneurship," said Anastasia Goodstein, founder of Ypulse.com. "This generation of teenagers has grown up with the internet, and so it makes sense that they would be defining the next wave of websites and technology."
