Amsterdam, Netherlands – July 19, 2007: Teledata Networks, a leading global provider of innovative Multiservice Access solutions for NGN (Next Generation Networks), today introduced BroadAccess-100, a unique Mini IP DSLAM enabling telcos to deliver high bandwidth services in FTTN (Fiber to the Node) configurations and seamlessly upgrade to Triple Play services.

BroadAccess-100 is the newest addition to the Teledata Networks’ acclaimed BroadAccess multiservice platform family. It is a compact, environmentally hardened broadband access system which is used to upgrade narrowband remote access systems as well as deliver broadband from remote outdoor cabinets or MTUs (Multi Tenant Units).

The system’s advanced Ethernet functionality, support of DSL Forum TR-101 standard, and dense 1U “pizzabox” structure – all address specific needs of CLECs and incumbent operators, enabling them to extend novel services to small clusters of subscribers, and facilitating their transition to Triple Play. The system is already being used by CLECS in Kazakhstan, Argentina and Bolivia. Moreover, BroadAccess-100 is the first milestone in a new product line, which will include an MSAG with VoIP capabilities in the next release.

“BroadAccess-100 is a perfect solution for effortless migration to high-speed services, and for bringing DSL closer to the customer,” said Eran Ziv, CEO & President, Teledata Networks. “We’ve received excellent feedback from customers on this product, and it has already begun to lead us into new markets and horizons.”
