Chief Executive Network (CEN) announced that Butler, Rosenbury, & Partners (BR&P) has been selected as a finalist for the 2007 Wall Street Journal and Winning Workplaces’ “Top Small Workplaces.” Geoffrey Butler AIA, CEO and President of BR&P, has been a member of CEN since 1995.

More than 440 applications were submitted for this prestige award, and BR&P is one of the 35 finalists. The winners will be announced October 1, 2007 in the Journal Report on Small Business and will be honored at the Top Small Workplaces Conference and Celebration.

According to the nonprofit organization Winning Workplaces, finalists were selected based on a national search of small employers that foster teamwork, flexibility, high productivity, and innovation.

In order to qualify for the prestigious award, a candidate had to be an independent company with no more than $200 million in annual revenues, fewer than 500 employees, and been in operation for at least five years.

"To me, it is a validation of our continual efforts to make this firm great. In as much as our people spend a significant amount of their life here, it is important to have their time in our firm to be rewarding, personally, professionally and emotionally," said Geoffrey Butler.

“CEN is proud to have members like Butler, Rosenbury & Partners who not only have a strong history of past performance but continue to thrive with honors like this. Our members see the talent shortage as a key issue in the future and thus having a great place to work becomes a strategic advantage,” said Bob Grabill, CEO & President of Chief Executive Network.
