5th Annual Royal LePage Credit Valley Real Estate Charity Golf Tournament Announced

Brampton, ON – Ron Rouse, Broker of Record and owner of Royal LePage Credit Valley Real Estate, Brokerage, is pleased to announce the date for the 2007 Charity Golf Tournament. It will be held at Banty's Roost Golf & Country Club on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, with registration at 9:30am for an 11am tee-off.

At last year’s Charity Tournament, Mr. Rouse and his team of real estate sales and support staff, associates and suppliers raised over $12,000 for the Shelter.

As always, this annual tournament is in support of The Honeychurch Family Life Resource Centre, a shelter for abused women and their children, the only family violence shelter in Brampton and the only one in the GTA that accepts families including young boys over 12 years old. Mr. Rouse and his wife, Kathie, are very active in supporting the shelter, having raised, with the help of their team, almost $100,000 over the past 4 years.

"The women and children who rely on the shelter for help generally have to leave their home environment with nothing more than the clothes on their backs," said Ms. Rouse. "They need our help so we will be aggressively trying to beat last year’s results, which we can definitely do with the support of the business community and individuals in Brampton and surrounding areas. Violence is a cycle we can change."
