The Farrelly Group Assists Interact with New Designs and Strategies

July 25, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
The Farrelly Group has been invited to assist Interact, a Wake County non-profit agency serving victims, survivors, and families of domestic violence and sexual assault, with design and marketing for its programs, services, and fundraising efforts. The new designs and strategies will coincide with Interact’s current and future fundraising efforts which will directly benefit Interact’s new building and its ground-breaking, collaborative services model.

In 2008, Interact will move into their new location on Oberlin Road in Raleigh, a building formerly belonging to the YWCA of Wake County. The facility provides Interact with the space needed to provide wrap-around services with a holistic methodology. Forming a unified effort, Interact is moving forward with a positive and collaborative approach in services and treatment for victims and survivors of domestic violence. “We are creating what we believe will be a national model program for effective and efficient delivery of services,” says Adam Hartzell, Executive Director. “Key to that is the idea of providing wrap-around services that will meet their full needs to be able to succeed in restarting their lives free of violence.”

Interact is currently engaged in a campaign to raise $5 million for its new facility. To date, they have reached $3 million in contributions from individuals, family foundations, grants, and area businesses.

Christy Farrelly, Executive Producer, and the Farrelly Group team are grateful to be able to work with Interact. “It’s amazing to work with an organization that has a strong message of hope and change. When you tour the facility and envision the support that will be there, you can truly feel the positive impact Interact will have on children, women, men, and all people who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our goal is to reinforce their efforts and mission with pieces that are engaging, stimulate discussion, and incite action.”

Interact is continuing their fundraising efforts, aiming to reach their goal of $5 million prior to 2008.
