August 3 Deadline Approaching for Computerworld’s “Best Practices in Infrastructure Management” Awards Program

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Computerworld’s Infrastructure Management World (IMW) is seeking IT end-user organization case study nominations for its "Best Practices in Infrastructure Management" Awards Program. Infrastructure Management World's annual awards program identifies and acknowledges excellence among users of infrastructure management technology.

Eligible nominees are exclusively IT end-user organizations. Nominations of IT end-user organizations are accepted from IT users themselves, their public relations representatives, or vendors on behalf of their IT end-user customers. Multiple submissions of case studies describing different deployments per IT end-user/organization will be considered.

Five Finalists in each category will be recognized at Computerworld’s Infrastructure Management World Conference, held Sept. 10-12, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Ariz. The top Honoree in each category will be recognized during a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Honorees and Finalists will be recognized on the event website and in an event press release.

Honorees and Finalists will be recognized in each of the following five categories:

- Data Center Management, IT Operations & Business Continuity
- Network Management
- Security, Compliance, and Risk Management
- Servers and Virtualization
- Storage and ILM

End-user Finalists will receive complimentary conference registrations.
