(South Lake Tahoe, Calif.) – Tahoe Valley Airport (TVL), the private jet gateway to South Lake Tahoe, has just completed a major renovation of its Fixed Base Operation (FBO) as part of the city’s on-going redevelopment that partners the efforts of private investments with that of public interests. Redevelopment partnerships in recent years have included Vail Resorts Inc.’s addition of a base mountain gondola, providing direct mountain access for skiers and riders, and the completion of Heavenly Village, the area’s pedestrian-style ‘town center’ with unique shops, restaurants and services. Not to be outdone by the private sector’s contributions, city officials recently broke ground on a 71,000 square foot convention center, which will accommodate up to 1,600 for meetings and up to 4,400 for concert venues, officially putting that project into motion.

“The entire south shore of Lake Tahoe is undergoing a re-awakening,” said Rick Jenkins, airport director, South Lake Tahoe Airport. “And one of the first things that people see when they land here is the FBO. It was in great need of a remodel, and thanks to 323 Residences, it’s now spectacular and ready to meet the needs of travelers, residents and business owners visiting and/or living in the area.”

As a result of 323 Residences’ renovations, the new FBO now offers private jet passengers and their crews a luxurious and comfortable setting. The main lounge is relaxing with overstuffed chairs facing a river rock fireplace indicative of the area’s mountain lifestyle. There are also three 32” LCD flat panel televisions tuned to the latest sports, news and local information. The floor-to-ceiling photos of Lake Tahoe that flank the fireplace complement the natural surroundings and provide a unique sense of arrival. An adjacent break room includes a dining area stocked with snacks and refreshments and new changing areas/restrooms were also added. The new pilot’s office includes three new Dell Computer workstations with high-speed Internet access, and the Trajen customer service area now welcomes visitors in style.

323 Residences is the area’s newest, full ownership, luxury condominium. Adjacent to both the Boulder and Stagecoach lifts on Heavenly Mountain, 323 Residences will feature two, three and four bedroom plans ranging in square footage from 1820 to 3250 square feet with the buyer’s choice of either lake or valley views. In addition to the standard residences, 323 also features nine two-story penthouses, ranging from 3800 to 6100 square feet and consisting of 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, 2 living areas, and unobstructed views of both gorgeous Lake Tahoe and the serenity that is Carson Valley.

Priced from $1.5 Million to $5.5 Million, 323 Residences is now taking reservations at their Model and Discovery Center in the Heavenly Village. The Center is located near the base gondola, close to the movie theater. The Model and Discovery Center is open daily beginning at 9 a.m. Please visit www.323Tahoe.com or call 866-LAKE-323 (866-525-3323) for more information.
