Canadian Children's Entertainers Speak Out About Extreme Poverty

Canadian musicians “Bobs and Lolo” from Vancouver, British Columbia, are one of sixteen international artists featured on the new Worldview website Other Canadians include Joel Kroeker (also from Vancouver), guitarist Maneli Jamal and singer/songwriter Monica Joy - both from Ontario. Robyn Hardy (Bobs) and Lorraine Pond (Lolo) are the only children's performers in the coalition of indie bands and singer/songwriters on the site.

In addition to their music video for Ocean Blue, the pair also talk about extreme poverty and child sponsorship. According to Pond “We all have the power to make a difference in the life of a child, and there's nothing more important in this world than ending extreme child poverty.”

Worldview is an international volunteer movement based in Canada that teaches how child sponsorship works and encourages support of the world's four major child sponsorship organizations – Christian Children's Fund, Compassion, Plan and World Vision. It is not a charity and it doesn't accept donations.
