Pizza express to employ more Italians

Pizza Express food has been known for pretty uninspiring food. Salads and Pizzas seems to came straight out of the "Lets Go Bistro (in a day)" cookbook. It is basically no worse than many Italian pizzerias in Italy.

The new Pizza Express Spin Doctor Francesco Vitetta wants to employ more Italians to give an more Italian touch to the menu and service. The current Neapolitan pizza is just a thin version of the real thing; this is because if you have to wait for a pizza to rise then you lose money. This is not how the pizza is done in Naples at all, for a good sample go to Brandi pizzeria in Naples near the Bourbon palace (terrible service) and try a real one, its like eating something new.

"More Italians in an Italian food chain!" says Francesco, who, at 27, could easily pass for a college student.

"People in Naples are very passionate about food and I am confident I can raise the standards quite quickly" states Vitetta.

"We make all our pizza's toppings from scratch," he says.
