August 4, 2007 — White Carrot Media, Inc. is pleased to announce the official launch of their National Child Services Directory (WhiteCarrot.com) which offers free access to various daycares, preschools, nannies, sitters and tutoring/learning centers in cities across the United States.

“Looking for child care nowadays is a nightmare. Sure, there are many sites that offer child care listings, but most charge you for access or give you one or two listings in your area. Why bother using a service like that?” says Jih Wang, co-founder of White Carrot Media, Inc. “We wanted WhiteCarrot.com to be different. We wanted to show parents that there are a lot more daycares than most people think and you don’t have to pay anyone to find them.”

WhiteCarrot.com has recently added over 30,000 business listings from several states and it’s rapidly expanding to other parts of the United States. Basic listings are free to all child services that wish to be listed in their service directory. This includes daycares, preschools, nannies, sitters, tutors and learning centers. “We not only want to provide parents with free access, but also the businesses that list on our site. It’s simple, if you want to be the largest child services directory in the country, you can’t charge for it.” says Brad Milby, another of the company’s co-founders.

Currently, WhiteCarrot.com offers search requests for daycares, preschools, nannies, sitters, tutors, learning centers and other children’s services. A discussion forum is also offered for families to get quick answers to child care related issues and other general discussions.
