Green Energy Council "The Real Watch-Dog For Green"

The Green Energy Council was recently established with offices located in South Jersey. The principals of the non profit trade association are Ralph Avallone, president and CEO, Peter Esposito, vice president and COO, and Derek Avallone, Treasurer and CFO.

The GEC is a professional non – profit trade association comprised of individuals and companies that promote “Green” (sustainable) forms of energy production, renewable energy sources, sustainable design practices and advanced thinking in utilizing education and information for the promotion of being better stewards of our environment.
They are comprised of renewable energy companies, developers, builders, material suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, lending institutions, utilities, installers, designers, manufacturers, engineers, inspectors, consultants and others involved in and out of the “green” community.
The GEC provides critical information, advocacy, education, and networking opportunities that will grow your business and ensure the long-term success of the sustainable energy industry.

At the state and national level, we will shape the most successful renewable portfolio standards and other key policies.

It is the objective of the Association to provide advice and to render opinions pertaining to all of the issues affecting the “Green” industry on the Federal, state, county and municipal levels of government;

to maintain surveillance, review and analysis of all governmental activities, whether federal, state, county or local in nature, which affect the “Green” industry, whether legislative, executive or judicial in form and scope;

to maintain liaison with all levels of government; and to initiate, defend, and otherwise support environmentally sound initiatives that support sustainable energy practices in all its forms.
